Random Notes: Delay Classes for Now

Jessica Lawless is an artist, writer, former adjunct professor, and current union representative in higher education. Her work focuses on the emotional terrain of economic precarity from an intersectional feminist perspective. The Random Notes series contains visual poems made from cut up weekly papers pasted onto the detritus of everyday life. The series maps her move out of teaching into The Labor Movement, becoming one story arc for a book she is writing called, Cultural Capital Doesn’t Pay the Rent.
