Takeout

My husband lies ill in bed beneath the gray wool of winter, wanting Chinese bean curd soup. Waiting for the takeout near a party of a certain age, I hear one say, “Oh yes, I know the Olsen family. Their youngest, Bobby, died. Oh wait, maybe it was Richard.”







After receiving a Biology Degree in 1971, Julie Wenglinski worked for 30 years in Information Technology. After retirement, she began taking writing classes with Susan Hankla through the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, in 2012.
