The House We Made

Our house has too many walls now. Yesterday I opened the front door, took one step inside, and smacked my nose into one of the new walls. I’m not mad, but I rather liked things before we had to cross the powderkeg room on our way to the indifference room.







Marcella Vokey is a graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she earned a political science degree. No one has asked her to fix the government, yet. Marcella was once described as uncanny and “a balloon with a lead weight.” She is currently living and writing in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
