We locusts have been planning this trip, plotting the course. You are expecting us. Wingless nymphs and swarms of elders descend in excitement. We are unwelcome. This is a surprise.

Burgundy stained fingertips dot ten plagues onto Seder plates and the children’s locust finger puppets dance in the candlelight. Amen.
