The Letter
Winston Plowes lives on a boat near Mytholmroyd. He is the proud hoarder of an extended family of spiral bound notebooks. These are the foster homes for forgotten words found in detective novels, comics and newspapers. Some were picked up off the street, ignored on public transport or abandoned in litterbins. He has recently found homes for his words in publications such as The Best of Manchester Poets, The Hebden Bridge Times and The Found Poetry Review. In April this year he took part in the Online Pulitzer Remix project. You can find out more by visiting www.winstonplowes.co.uk
