Mom and I raid the dollar store. Our one true treat. TV dinners, chips, crackers, even the occasional pack of Skittles. She loves carrying loads of bags.
“Makes us look like dandies,” she says.
Of course, sometimes they threaten to rip. But we hold on. We’ve lost too much already.
