Memory

I would like to kiss
The perfume of a flower in memory
But an ungrateful shell
Has deprived me of my nose
Of which war am I a veteran?









Landa wo is a poet from Angola and Cabinda . His work has previously appeared in Cultura , Blackmail Press, Boyne Berries, Cyphers, and Nashville Review, among others. Landa wo has won 1st prize in Metro Eireann writing competition 2007 judged by Roddy Doyle, Eist poetry competition 2006 and Feile Filiochta international poetry competition 2005. Landa wo lives in Essen, Germany.
