The Big Reveal

The serendipity of the moonrise hour and the brightness of the phase made it clear who had been sneaking around the yard, and why. 

It was the previous owner, and not a burglar casing us, nor an overzealous admirer – our two working theories. A reluctant seller as revenant. Almost understandable.
