Jette Clover creates art quilts inspired by the layering and lettering of torn posters, advertisements and graffiti in the city. Formerly a journalist, she continues to combine text and lettering in her textile work. She photographs, paints, screen prints and stitches these fragments of urban communication as she wonders about the traces we leave behind: from scratching on a rock to spray-painting an abandoned building to making a quilt. Born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, lived in USA and the Netherlands for many years, she currently lives in Antwerp, Belgium. www.jetteclover.com
