Call Back
I had an audition, after far too long, so my robot agent had me pulled from the suspension pod. Some alien outfit wanted to do a remake of “Gilligan’s Island.” It was just a voice part, since they wanted a nostalgic background soundtrack of human voices. The read-through went okay. I read for both Mr. and Mrs. Howell.
Well, back into the pod for me, they said “They’d let me know.” Yeah, right. In what, 200 years?
