Aunt Ada
My cousin Sheila lives at the top of a hill.
Today,
That does not help.
Catalpa and PawPaw Trees abound,
No one knows what will happen next.
An important person…Of this Kentucky part of the world
Has passed into the next world. Who was
this great woman?
She raised 3 beautiful children
Saw to the care of many
Wonderful grandchildren.
She saw to the care of many who were not her own,
A fact to which I can attest.
In the cold of 1952 and 53,
She took in yet two more
Helping us along the way.
We are not supposed to understand.
